TROPICAL STORM RITA

Glad that it has been downgraded and hopefully the worst of the damage is over. TV cable out so I can't see shots of damage yet. Don't know if I want to, but you look in spite of yourself.
Shelters full here and running out of food. People encouraged to stay put until it is safe to go home. I know it is hard to wait in a shelter, but you may not have any of the amenities at home we have become all too used to. Gas will be a major problem getting back home, but at least you won't be being chased by Rita this time.
