More comparisons between my most recent dog companions.

Heidi leaves the kitchen if I run water, fry an egg, run the vent-a-hood, or turn on the microwave. She hides behind my recliner and peers out to see if danger has passed.
Bock lay like a pancake in front of the sink and I had to straddle him to rinse dishes, etc.

Heidi looks out the glass front door and barks at everything and nothing that passes her vision.
Bock would lay at the front door and not even raise his head if someone rang the doorbell.
