LITTLE DOG, BIG MOUTH

The weenie has had isues this week with making me play when I didn't want to. I can't believe a little thing like she is could put my whole ankle, sock and all, into her mouth. And, she wasn't nipping gently either. She clamped down pretty good. Maybe there is a little bit of "pit" in her. She had an exciting Monday. She had company most of the day. Last week, she had an overnight at the vet clinic because I had cataract surgery. I don't believe she ate the whole time she was gone because she was pretty gaunt.

BUSY

I have been too busy to blog lately. I have a schedule to keep. My mommy got a heat lamp thing and I have to spend a lot of time in front of it. It keeps me toasty warm and through no fault of my own, it makes me very sleepy. Well, it's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. Also, my mommy is usually toasting herself in front of it too and it kills two birds with one stone. I can keep an eye on her at the same time.

FEBRUARY BLUES

I have barked for 2 days. My mommy says I am really bitchy. (no pun intended)
I have a great new game. I run to the front door and bark and then I run to her and bark and then I run back to the front door and bark again. She falls for it every time. She goes to the door and there is no one there. I laugh and laugh and laugh.
Well, it spices up my day anyway.

AT LAST, THE FARM

Finally I got to get out of the car at the farm. I was so afraid I wouldn't get out, that I jumped from the back to the front seat and got out when my mommy had the door open. I ran straight for a fence and saw those huge creatures on the other side. They got bigger as I got to them, so I whirled around and ran straight back toward my mommy. My uncle caught me and picked me up and I was saved.
Then, we went into a metal building that had all sorts of interesting smells and junk in it. Wouldn't you know, they put my leash over a door knob so I couldn't explore.
When they were finished in there, my uncle took me to see the hounds. He held me and told those big old dogs to behave. He let me touch their noses with my nose. It was very exciting. I hope I get to go to the farm again very soon.
