Vet Visit

Yesterday Heidi went to the vet for her monthly heartworm, weigh in and nail clipping. She weighed 10 lbs again. Looks like that might be her weight for awhile. I certainly don't want her to weigh more.
I took her to the nursing home later and she could stand it better this time. She ran around the the room and sniffed everything up. She barked a few times, but didn't get out of hand. One old lady walked by and told her she wasn't going to bother her. What she didn't understand is that Heidi wanted to be bothered. She barks at people so they will notice her.
When the aide brought Daddy's tray in, Heidi tried to follow her out. It surprised me. The aide has 2 dogs at home, so maybe she thought there were some playmates somewhere around. That or the fact she was bringing food to the room, maybe Heidi thought she was going to get some too. I know for a fact, these little things work for food. That is the way to their heart.
Yep, living with this thing is a lot like having a husband.
